BACKGROUND

The Monoposto Racing Club was founded in 1958 and held its first race at Brands Hatch in 1959.  From modest beginnings, the Club has recently celebrated its 60th anniversary and is now the largest single seater motor racing club in the UK, regularly putting out two grids of cars

Its original ethos remains true now, to provide cost-effective single seater racing.
