The Monoposto Racing Club is pleased to publish it’s 2014 Season Preview.
The club hopes to build on the solid bedrock it has built over the past few years by providing cost effective and competitive motor racing on the most prestigious circuits around the UK and Europe, whilst maintaining a friendly and welcoming paddock atmosphere.
The major change for 2014 is the introduction of a class for ‘spec’ Formula Ford Duratec’s, finally giving them somewhere to race in the UK.
The provisional racing calendar will be published in the next fortnight, but the club will be visting the following circuits (in alphabetical order): Brands Hatch Indy, Brands Hatch GP, Castle Combe, Donington Park GP, Silverstone GP, Snetterton 300, Spa-Francorchamps (n/c), Truxton and others TBA.
At the end of the main championship season, there will be a new short Autumn Championship, the Tiedeman Trophy (named in honour of Monoposto’s founder, the late Frank Tiedeman). This was trialled in 2013 with great success.
