Motor racing started at Anglesey's Ty Croes camp following the decommissioning of the former Army Barracks and RAF Radar Station. Initially sprint events and rallycross took place before a circuit license was obtained in 1997. The circuit was remodelled in 2006. Monoposto last visited in 2019 and were due to visit in 2020 before Covid and the Welsh Government's stance on Motorsport in Wales prevented that visit to be rescheduled.
This event will be hosting the final rounds of the 2023 Monoposto Championship, and also the opening rounds of the 2023 Reprise IT Tiedeman Trophy - at the same time. Members can enter either or both championships. Drivers who are not entered in both championships are considered invisible for the championship they are not contesting for awarding of points and trophies.
The race format will be 1 qualifying session and 2 races, each scheduled to be 15 minutes in length.
