2024 Monoposto Championship

2024 Championships will be contested over 14 races held over 6 weekends.

CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION

CHAMPIONSHIP PERMIT: CH2024/R092 (C)

RACE FORMAT:
Most meetings for 2024 will be held over a race weekend with 2 or 3 races per meeting.   Oulton Park and Brands Hatch GP will be a single day meeting. Qualifying sessions and races are typically 15 minutes long, with some exceptions at 20 minutes per session.

Some meetings will have one grid which will have an impact on the number of competitiors able to race. Reserve lists will operate, and naturally the earlier an entry is lodged, the higher the chance of securing your position on the grid.

Twin Header - 2 qualifying sessions & 2 races
Double Header - 1 qualifying session & 2 races
Triple Header - 1 qualifying session & 3 races

On Double and Triple Headers, grid for race 2 is based on fastest laps of race 1, with race 3 using race 2's fastest laps

Mono F3 - Karl O'Brien
Mono 2000 - Tom Wheatley
Mono 2000 Classic - Will Cox

BACKGROUND

The Monoposto Racing Club was founded in 1958 and held its first race at Brands Hatch in 1959.  From modest beginnings, the Club celebrates its 65th racing year in 2024, and is now the largest single seater motor racing club in the UK, regularly putting out two grids of cars

Its original ethos remains true now, to provide cost-effective single seater racing.
