BACKGROUND
The Monoposto Racing Club was founded in 1958 and held its first race at Brands Hatch in 1959. From modest beginnings, the Club celebrates its 67th racing year in 2026, and is now the largest single seater motor racing club in the UK, regularly putting out two grids of cars
Its original ethos remains true now, to provide cost-effective single seater racing.

TROPHIES
Class winners and podium finishers (subject to number of starters) receive a trophy. An additional trophy is awarded for the "Driver of the Day", and this is usually awarded to the driver who made up the most positions between qualifying position and race finishing position.
For 2025, this award is sponsored by Watson Wheatley Financial Systems.

SILVERSTONE CUP
This season Monoposto visits Silverstone three times, and uses each of its major configurations - the southern International Circuit using the F1 Pits, the full Grand Prix Circuit (from the National Pits) and as part of the Tiedeman Trophy, the National Circuit.
A special trophy is up for graps for the person who scores the most points over the six races. Points (for this trophy only) will be given for qualifying and a bonus point structure as per Tiedeman rules depending on the class size.

TATUUS F4 (GeN-1) ELIGIBLE FOR 2000
For the 2025 Monoposto Championship, the Mono 2000 class will be extended to welcome the addition of the Tatuus T014 F4 chassis with Abarth 1400cc 414-F4 engine running to the in-period FIA F4 requirements at min 40mm ride height. These will complement the Mygale F4 previously allowed and the preceding 2010-2013 Mygale and Tatuus cars will also be welcomed. This will enhance and strengthen our ability to provide cost effective, competitive single seater racing.
