BACKGROUND
The Founder of the Monoposto Racing Club, Frank Tiedeman, passed away in 2013. A new Autumn Championship was established that year bearing his name. Frank was a prominent advocate of low cost single seater racing, which is the objective of the Tiedeman Trophy, offering cost effective racing at the end of the season.
The Trophy was trialed in 2013 as a four race mini-series at two circuits with great success and is now established as a 6 race, 3 meeting championship. Since 2017 we have a title sponsor on board, Reprise IT.

ELIGIBLE CARS & DRIVERS
Cars complying with any current Monoposto class, plus an Invitation Class at the discretion of the Monoposto Racing Club.
TATUUS F4 (GeN-1) ELIGIBLE FOR MONO2000
For the 2026 Monoposto Championship, the Mono 2000 class will be extended to welcome the addition of the Tatuus T014 F4 chassis with Abarth 1400cc 414-F4 engine running to the in-period FIA F4 requirements at min 40mm ride height. These will complement the Mygale F4 previously allowed and the preceding 2010-2013 Mygale and Tatuus cars will also be welcomed. This will enhance and strengthen our ability to provide cost effective, competitive single seater racing.
INVITATION CLASS
The Tiedeman Trophy regulations, as approved by Motorsport UK have an Invitational Class for normally aspirated reciprocating piston engined cars of up to 2000cc capacity which do not comply with standard classes.
If you have such a car and would like the compete, you need to seek approval from both the Monoposto Race and Technical Committees.
As the acceptance process may take some time, it is recommended that applications are made early, and accompanied with technical information regarding the proposed car, and if currently raced on UK circuits, some race results.
Performance of cars are monitored and may lead to acceptance in future Monoposto Championship and Tiedeman Trophy Championships. Cars competing in the Invitational class do not accrue championship points.
