Motor racing started at Anglesey's Ty Croes camp following the decommissioning of the former Army Barracks and the RAF Radar Station. Initially sprint events and rallycross took place before a circuit license was obtained in 1997. The circuit was extensively remodelled in 2006. Monoposto last visited in 2023
This event will be hosting the second meeting of the 2025 Monoposto Championship. The meeting is a triple header meeting, meaning one qualifying session and three races, with grid positions for races 2 and 3 decided by fastest lap order of the preceeding race.
This is another circuit where a F3A car could possibly get close to, or break the lap record. It is currently held by Sylvie Mullins in a Judd engined Gould at 01.01.741, so just a second away, and the weather in May is hopefully better than October when the F3A record was set.
