The Monoposto Racing Club has confirmed the recipients of its annual community charity fund, continuing an initiative that began five years ago to give back to motorsport and local communities connected to its race calendar.
The scheme invites drivers to make voluntary donations at the point of race entry, supported by additional fundraising efforts throughout the season. The Club also commits 10 per cent of its annual trading surplus to the fund. Together, these contributions typically raise around £1,500 per year.
Over the past five years, MRC has donated to a range of motorsport and wider charities, including the British Motorsport Marshals Club, Race Against Dementia, Macmillan Cancer Support, Cancer Research UK and regional Air Ambulance services.
In its 2026 charitable allocation, the following charities or initiatives based close to circuits will share available funds with the British Heart Foundation which Club members have voted to support. The majority of the local charities have been nominated by the circuits.
Circuit nominations received to date are as follows:
Anglesey – Anglesey Hawks Wheelchair Basketball. The circuit’s manager has also committed to personally matching Monoposto’s donation to her alternative local charity.
Cadwell Park – Cadwell Marshals Club, a small independent group of volunteer marshals.
Castle Combe – Friends of Bybrook Valley School, local to the circuit
Donington Park – Propose supporting a local Scout or Girlguiding group.
Silverstone – Supporting the Silverstone Community Hall refurbishment appeal by purchasing an inscribed brick.
Snetterton – The Garnier Hall and Social Club in Eccles, currently closed and fundraising for a rebuild.
Thruxton – Finding Freedom from Abuse, Andover.
